Thank you very much for your kind words! I hope you continue to follow our adventure. We are very glad we stopped by in Hannibal. It was truly requisite, not only for obvious reasons.

Mark Twain changed my life. He educated me on what is most important. We wanted this CD to serve as an introduction for people who have only a cursory understanding of Clemens and also, somehow, to pay a more respectful homage to him on behalf of those whose lives have been transformed by his pen. I’m especially touched that you felt the connection with “Indian Crow” and with “Ink” – two songs that help tell Twain’s story and that have deep meaning for me. I’m so happy you came to the party and that it did not disappoint. Safe travels to you, and may you come back soon to the white town drowsing.

It was great meeting all of you at the release party and hearing about this very cool trip you’re on. As a “Twainiac” myself, I will definitely check in regularly to hear about this once in a lifetime experience. I’m quite envious! Danny Wilson (co-writer of “Huck Finn Blues”)
p.s. If you get a chance, check out our Twain inspired literary journal “The Village Pariah” that Emily and I cowrite (sponsored by the Boyhood Home and Museum). Maybe you could all write a piece about your travels for one of our upcoming issues.
